After a nightmare couple of months involving our old ISP moving the site to a new server incompletely and migrating to a new server, we are finally back. The site is no longer on a shared hosting package, but on it`s own virtual server which we have direct access to allowing a finer control of the system. Apologies to all for the long loss of service and thank you to those to stuck with us through this time.

Dear Members

I am sorry that despite our best efforts we are still having problems with the site. At present we are unable to load new galleries to the site and people wanting to join are unable to do so. We have experienced real failures by our hosting company and are in process of changing, so have every hope that things will get back to normal in the next few days.

When we are operating normally again we will immediately put on all the galleries that should have been appearing during the disruption, so you will not miss out on any of our bright new ClubLads boyz !

If you have tried to join us recently but had your application refunded please do not worry - I will be contacting you all personally to invite you to join us as soon as things are back to normal.

I can only say how sorry and disappointed I am at the problems we have all been experiencing, and promise you we will do all we can to make sure this never happens again.

We're really sorry that we are having ongoing technical problems, which means that we are sometimes bringing you only part - and sometimes none! - of the site. We are giving this our best shot, but getting everything right is time-consuming and delicate, so please bear with us.

We, (Mike and Jonnar) have had the pleasure of running ClubLads for you since its inception some 5 years ago. There are going to be some changes to our personal circumstances coming up very shortly which we would like to tell you about. Before doing so, however, can we just say that ClubLads will continue running as ever and that we will continue our efforts to bring you ClubLads in undiminished form - and indeed to bring you new features and top content under our changed situations.

Mike, our tech expert and webmaster, has moved to the Far East and at the end of the month Jonnar, our editor-in-chief and chief photographer will be moving from UK to mainland Europe. Those are the only changes, but many of you may think this will have an adverse effect on the site. We hope that the following will explain to you how we will be able to continue the site without diminution.

We will continue to maintain a wide selection of contacts within UK and, with air fares now being so inexpensive within Europe, Jonnar will continue to shoot UK models in UK locations - and will be offering UK lads the chance to fly out to him to do shoots on the continent too. We have recently used shoots of models from various European countries - you will have seen that we have spread our wings recently in terms of adding many non-UK guys - and we hope to continue the development of our networking throughout Europe. To that end we have worked hard to expand our network of approved photographers and this will bring you, we hope, an even wider selection of attractive models for your enjoyment

Modern communications mean that when Jonnar is totally stumped with a technical problem on site (a not-infrequent situation!!) he can still be in almost instant contact with Mike, who will tut in his usual way at Jonnar's technophobia and put everything right in a trice. There should never be any problems in keeping our site fast, safe, uncluttered and bang on the nail. As an IT professional Mike's knowledge and committment to ClubLads are phenomenal.

Above all, we hope that you will continue to mail us with your comments, questions, brickbats and (maybe!) bouquets. We have tried to present ClubLads to you in a homely, user-friendly way and we value your comments and all your input. When we are settled we hope to be able to give you details of how to talk to us (yes, real voice talk!) via the marvels of Skype.com and we want you to use that facility to keep us up to the mark

Thanks for all your support and loyalty over the past 5+ years. We both thank you very sincerely for making the running of ClubLads a very pleasurable challenge, and hope we can rely on your continuing support

We've had a few requests to provide the facility to download ClubLads galleries in a zipfile, and this is now possible. So far we have only completed the work on the most recent galleries, but we will be working backwards through the site to provide you with the chance to download everything in a zipfile and save on your computer. Keep your eyes peeled for more new innovations at ClubLads. Lots of things are about to happen, so don't miss out !!

Well, here we are, then - an occasional Newsletter section to update you with the goings-on here at ClubLads. We have been wanting for quite a while now to have a facility to keep you informed about various things of interest to our Members, but the Guestbook wasn't the ideal location. "Club News" is intended to give you the goss, fill-out some detail, keep you updated - in fact it will be here for us to pass on to you anything we think you might like to know about ClubLads, its models and its progress and development.

There is also the opportunity for Members to suggest items they might like us to include here. If you want to know more on a particular matter concerning the site you can either e-mail us at service@clublads.com or post a message in the Guestbook, and we will follow as soon as possible by providing the answer here in Club News.

All you ever wanted to know, but were afraid to ask...............

Quite a few members have asked for more background information about our Models, and this is now available by clicking on the Models tab amongst the menu options at the left of the main page screen.

Over the years literally hundreds of models have modelled for ClubLads. Some appeared just the once, others have become regulars, even favourites, so have appeared in lots of different items. Trying to provide details has been a lengthy project, and the results as they are showing now are not fully complete, but this will be an ongoing project for the team here. We aim to update and fill in more details and pictures by working our way right through the Models List over the coming weeks.
